Just over a year ago, I suffered a workplace injury. Mitch is the Physiotherapist who’s currently helping getting me back to my optimal health. He took his time to listen on how I got injured, and then provided with the hands on treatment. He’s very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. If the Momentum Group had a 6 star rating, I’d definitely give it to them. I’ll be giving an additional star to Mitch. ⭐️

Emmanuel managed to get me back into a routine of going to the gym! It’s been 15 years since I last went to the gym regularly.It’s early days but I’ve been going 4-5 times a week. After just one session with Piero—who is truly the best—I walked out feeling like a new person. I saw Piero several weeks ago after months of shoulder pain from a work injury. His assessment and work up was very thorough and professional and he provisionally diagnosed me with frozen shoulder and advised confirmation with an mri. MRI did confirm his diagnosis and he suggested an immediate cortisone injection which turned the problem around rapidly. Without his advice and subsequent treatment and rehab exercises I might not be able to work now.I’d be happy to recommend Piero to anyone, particularly if they have shoulder pain.

I came to Scott at Momentum Physio barely able to move due to a lower back injury, and from day one, he was incredibly attentive and thorough. He took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my body and walked me through everything he was doing, always making sure I understood why. His communication skills are excellent, and you can really tell he’s passionate about his work—what more could you ask for in a physio? I have recently started seeing Scott Coughlin at Momentum in Mosman initially for a neck issue and more recently for shoulder issues. He is a very impressive young physio. His knowledge and understanding of my symptoms and the resulting manipulation and movement recommendations were excellent. I recently suffered a really bad case of vertigo which was quite scary being in my 70's and living alone. One visit to Adam, (which in all honesty I had been putting off as I knew of the manoeuvre required to correct it) and it was virtually gone.Adam was really understanding of my fears and talked me through the whole procedure. Alex did wonders on my right shoulder and arm. I would be in a lot of pain when I went to her but come away in absolutely no pain at all. The exercises she gave me were spot on. Josh has been amazing at helping me work through some injuries as well as some wear and tear issues that I have to live with. He’s knowledgeable, intuitive and can interpret what’s going on with my muscles and joints better than I can. Not only that, in the midst of some painful techniques he uses, he can still manage to make me wince in pain and laugh at the same time. It definitely makes the session go faster and is almost a fun experience! Josh is also keen to understand your progress (or lack of) so that he can fine-tune treatment if needed. Discovered Momentum Physio through my usual GP (Norwest General Practice). Had Jarryd for my appts which I was a bit nervous about (I was close to requesting a female physio just for my own comfort) but he made me feel really comfortable and safe. He is passionate about his profession and knows it inside out. Two weeks before a marathon overseas I had some trouble with my left knee.I saw Troy, who was quick to diagnose the issue as Patella Tendinitis - somewhat common for those running large weekly volumes like done for participating in a marathon.Troy prescribed exercises and some activation work to move towards the start line of the marathon and also tapped my knee accordingly.I was able to finish the marathon with no pain and recover well, too. Since seeing Troy, I have kept up the strength exercises Troy suggested and had little to no issues.Highly recommend!

I'm deeply grateful for Piero Sanchez @ Momentum Mosman for treating my mum's severe arthritis since last year.When we first saw Piero, my mum was in pain and her leg was swollen and she can hardly walk. I can only say he is a superstar.A long term issue (two years) when raising my right knee to my chest, or rotating my knee if crossing my leg that caused a sharp pain in the groin area was fixed on the first visit. One week later I remain pain free and the right hip/groin has much improved mobility.I will return to see Peiro Monday to keep improving the right hip mobility.Peiro has a great approach. My son has been seeing Adam for nearly 5 years now after being diagnosed with a bone cancer and having major surgery. Adam has worked wonders with my sons rehab, after being told he wouldn’t be able to have certain movements. He is absolutely amazing and my son enjoys seeing him on a weekly basis. He is flexible, accomodating and very professional. We would have no doubt in recommending him to our family and friends.

Jarryd from Momentum physio has been great ! I went in with an injured back with pain going down my legs. With his help in a couple months Jarryd has taught me techniques and exercises which has helped me gain strength and most importanly I am no longer experiencing pain as I was. I went to see Wilson 6 weeks after having a knee reconstruction. At that point my knee was swollen, stiff, and I was well behind on recovery. After 4-5 sessions with Wilson I was physically almost a different person - huge improvements in range and motion. He was fantastic - in terms of both rehab in the gym and in helping with pain and more general treatment. I’d highly recommend.

He is very knowledgeable and always willing to go above and beyond in our sessions - many of which end slightly late because he usually will help out with rehabilitation exercises and a weekly care routine.My wrists are now much stronger, and much less pain free - I could not recommend more highly.

I had a history of injuries and in particular had very tight hamstrings. I play a number of sports including cricket, soccer and tennis. Unfortunately, I tore my left hamstring playing soccer and it was very painful. I came in and saw Piero who has been exceptional in providing myself with assistance to get my hamstring back to full strength whilst also helping improve my flexibility. I had been to other physios for previous injuries and not had the success or great advice (plus attention to the specific injury) that Piero has shown. My hamstrings have started to become more flexible/stronger and the exercises/stretches that I have been shown were ones that I didn’t even know of prior to visiting. Piero has an extensive knowledge of the muscle groups and what needs to be done to get yourself back to pre-injury and to assist in avoiding re-injuring that muscle. I found him to be excellent and highly recommend anyone else with an injury that needs to be rehabilitated to visit and get advice from Piero. You’ll be back stronger and more flexible than before.I find the team at Momentum are all very friendly and professional. Thanks again for your assistance!

Wilson was amazing, I went to see him with a wrist injury. he demonstrate clearly and in detailed every exercises that you should do, he make every exercise personal and adjust it week by week based on your strength. I started seeing Wilson at momentum physio Mosman almost a year ago now. I had a serious knee injury (ACL) that required two surgeries and Wilson helped me come out of those surgeries feeling healthy, happy and positive about my recovery trajectory. A commendable part of Wilsons approach is that he would ensure that the work we did was manageable for my level of pain that day or week, adjusting my program regularly. There were plenty of bumps along the way in my recovery, however I wouldn’t be running, hiking and swimming right now if it wasn’t for Wilson. He helped me build strength physically, and mental confidence that enabled me to make a full recovery. I can not recommend him enough to anyone who is looking for support form a qualified and caring professional. He will ensure you are comfortable, happy and looked after.

Until I went to see Troy at Momentum Physio in North Sydney I thought the practice of physiotherapy in general was a bit of a hack. As an active person in the gym, over time injuries occur. Until momentum physio, my experience with physiotherapy in general had been inadequate and never resulted any real world, long term fixes. Then I went and saw Troy. He is the only physio I have been to who offers substantial consultation, analysis, treatment and follow up. A world class standard. He is noticeably passionate about the craft of physiotherapy and in the over 2 years I have been going to see him, never once have I felt like a paycheck or that his focus is somewhere else other than solving whatever issue I am coming in with. Troy was recommended to me by a professional gymnast and I have since recommended 2 friends who have both become long term clients. I think that says it all. I recently had a weight lifting injury impacting my feet and ankles. I was referred to Momentum Physio with Luke Tamanini as my physio. Luke plays rugby, and is active in weightlifting as a sport which I found were tremendous assets in not only being able to assess / diagnose my injury but to also prepare a rehabilitation plan for my injury and also correction on my form.Luke actively listened, & tested for injury diagnosis. After each treatment the recovery of my injury and pain reduction was tremendous. After experiencing a deadlift injury, I visited Daniel at Momentum Physiotherapy @ George Street. He quickly worked out the problem and after following his advise and prescribed exercises the injury has cleared up and I am back to be pain free and hitting the big numbers with my Deads. I have to say this location is great for me. Its very conveniently located inside Fitness First George St. Less than 5 mins from circular quay and Wynyard station, so transport is easy.This is one of Momentum's smaller practices but I can see why Momentum Physiotherapy have had great success in expanding from a small practice in the North West to a growing number across Sydney.Ive been seeing the proprietor Luke and other staff for about 9 years now and they are always great to deal with, I feel amazing when I leave and they do whatever they can to fit you in when its convenient for you. :)

I started going to Momentum 8 years ago to see what they could do about pain I was having with my knees and shoulder, which were due to past injuries, & was impending my training. I was lucky enough to see Luke on my initial assessment and have been seeing him ever since for maintenance checkups. Not only did Luke resolve my issues he gave me the tools to keep my body in good health going forward. He truly is a legend in the game. His easy nature, expert knowledge of the anatomy and precise explanations in layman terms is second to none. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have an active lifestyle, mostly surfing, swimming and training with weights. First time I came to see Luke at momentum was about 9 year ago as I was suffering from lower back pain. He was able to diagnose my L5 bulging disc only by examining me. I’d never imagined someone could diagnose such a serious injury just by examining you, so I requested an MRI only to find out he was 100% right. After showing me proper exercises and educating me I have been able to live well with this condition since then and am still able to practice sports. I have also had other incidents while surfing (tríceps tear and cervical light injury) and been back to see other physiotherapists and they are very competent. Most definitely recommend momentum for their knowledge, experience and high level of professionalism.

Old injury playing up again? Or gone and done yourself a new injury? Maybe you just need a bit of regular body maintenance. I seem to have/need all three these days (45 year old male)...I've also seen a lot of physios and therapists in my time, and can say hand on heart Luke and the team at Momentum are the BEST and MOST EFFECTIVE at getting me back moving and swimming, surfing and continuing to be active how I want, when I want. I've been seeing Piero Sanchez for Physio for a number of years since doing my ACL in 2016. He has been helping me with my rehab to get me back to playing professional football. I always feel comfortable and I know I'm in safe hands when I see him. He's recently opened up a new Physio practice in North Sydney with Momentum Physio, and I'm happy to travel wherever I need to, to see him and his team. I have been visiting Troy from Momentum for the past 3 years. I couldn’t recommend a moreProfessional therapist. The team at the North Sydney practice have helped me a great deal. Injuries that have troubled me are mainly chronic and have literally been with me for quite some time - haven’t had much luck with other physio’s either. After an appointment with Troy, he diagnosed my issue quite efficiently but more importantly the treatment has proven quite effective, very friendly bunch too! Won’t be going anywhere else again!

I am absolutely blown away by the magnificent experience I have had with Troy at Momentum physio. Not only is the overall service from the team friendly but the North Sydney branch is a real gem! It's a beautiful Yoga and Pilates studio as well as super easy to get to. I was very delighted to have had the Blue street experience as I usually go to their Mosman branch.Troy is the most thorough, professional and experienced physio I have had the pleasure to work with (and there have been more than I can count) I am sadly rather injury prone but Troy always manages to A) Rehabilitate the problem, B) Teach me something new about my body & C) Ensure I have a plan for effective recovery and preventative measures. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I was recommended to see Troy by the trainers at my gym, for an ongoing shoulder and hamstring issue. My previous experience with physios in general wasn't very good so I was skeptical, but I went because everyone kept raving about it. I was impressed immediately with Troy's depth of knowledge and understanding of the body (having a background in personal training is a huge plus.) He quickly figured out the cause of both my issues, which he gave me exercises for and within just a week of doing them I noticed significant improvement. I've spent a lot of money on chiro, massage and acupuncture in the past for my shoulder which helped relieve symptoms but didn't get to the cause so the issue kept re-surfacing. I am stoked with the results and have saved a bucket load in the process. Thanks Troy!

I saw Stuart Dixon, senior physio and have to say, this guy is the NEXT LEVEL physio you need to see if other medical professionals are letting you down. I broke my foot in February and have seen a GP, physio, ortho and podiatrist and no-one offered any useful help to getting me back to where I needed to be. After a thorough examination, some dry needling, tough manipulation, taping and exercises, I immediately had increased mobility and balance and look forward to the next treatments. Don’t hesitate to see Stuart if you have problems with your feet following a trauma.
